Creation for Brushes effect ‘Steps’ are as follows :—

Step 1. Create a new file go to the file menu and select new.    Ctrl+n is the   Shortcut key.

 

Step 2.  (i) Fix the file Preset, dimensions width/Height, pixels, inches, points, cm, mm, pica’s, columns.

(ii) choose your color mode – RGB color,Gray-scale,Bitmap,CMYK color,Lab color.

(iii) choose Background contents – White, Background color, Transparent.

(iv) Than press OK.

Step 3. Now go to the window and you can select – brushes, Shortcut key – F5.

Set the Brushes Master Diameter you want to choose, and display  your brushes pallete now you can choose several properties for example Brushes Tip Shape, Shape Dynamics, Scattering, Texture, Dual Brush, Color Dynamics, Other Dynamics, Noise, Wet edges, Airbrush, Smoothing, Protect Texture ,these attributes are used to make  Cool Brushes Effect’s.

Step 5. Now go to the Tools Menu and  select brush tool, Now go to the Brushes presets and  select brushes and use this Brush in your new file.

Step 6. Change your Brush colors and Background color from the Tools menu and double click set forgound color tab than click ok.And drag the Brushes.

To Add More types of Brushes :—use the following steps

Step 1. Copy  your downloaded brushes.And click the Start button and go to the My computer.

Step 2. Double click the ‘C’ drive and go to the program files.

Step 3. Dubble click the Adobe folder.

step 4. Now again click the Adobe Photoshop folder.

step 5. Goto the presets folder and Double click brushes folder.

Step 6. And paste here Your downloaded brushes.

Step 7. Now Restart the Photoshop. and you can use these installed brushes from the brushes pallete.

Dreamweaver's assets provide access to all images, colors, and many other elements used within a website for easier maintenance. Frequently used assets can be added to a Favorites list for quick access. This document provides you with a brief introduction to the types of Dreamweaver assets.

Assets Categories

Images images
Displays image files (.jpg, .gif, .png) that have been used within your site. For more information about images, refer to Working with Images.

Colors colors
Displays colors that have applied to various elements in your site, such as text, table borders, and backgrounds. Use the color swatches in the Color category to consistently apply color choices to objects on a page. For more information about using colors, refer to Using Color Boxes.

URLs urls
Displays external links and link types that are included in your site. For more information about links, refer to Linking to Pages in Your Collection and Linking to Internet Resources.

Flash flash
Displays any Adobe flash formatted file located in your site.
NOTE: The Assets panel will display only SWF (compressed files) and not FLA (Flash source) files.

Shockwave shockwave
Displays all shockwave formatted files.

Movies movies
Displays all files that are formatted in QuickTime or MPEG.

Scriptsscripts
Displays JavaScript and VBScript files.
NOTE: Any script files that are not formatted with either JavaScript or VBScript will not appear in the Assetspanel.

Templates templates
Displays all templates available within your site. For more information about templates, refer to Templates Overview.

Library library
Displays elements that are used on multiple pages such as text, images, and links. For more information about library items, refer to Library Basics.

Assets Pane Overview

The following graphic represents the basic parts of the Assets panel.

Working with Assets

You can insert assets into a document by dragging them into either the Design or Code views, or by clicking the Apply/Insertbutton. You can insert colors and URLs or apply them to selected text in the Design view.

NOTE: Templates are applied to an entire document, and therefore, cannot be inserted into a document. For more information about templates, refer to Templates Overview.

  1. If the Assets pane is not displayed, from the Window menu, select Assets.
    OR
    Press [F11].
    OR
    From the Files pane, select the Assets tab.

  2. From the Assets toolbar, make the appropriate selection.

  3. Select the desired view; Site or Favorites. site favorites

  4. From the Item List, select the desired item.

  5. Drag the item to the desired location on the page.
    OR
    Place your insertion point in the desired location and click Apply/ Insert.

This document will provide you with the basic information needed to get started using Dreamweaver.

Opening Dreamweaver

To open Dreamweaver, use the following instructions. Then proceed to learn how to create and modify a document.
NOTES:
These instructions are for on-campus computers only.
Locations may vary depending on computer set-up.

  1. From the Start menu, select All Programs » Adobe Design Premium CS3 » Adobe Dreamweaver CS3.
    The Dreamweaver CS3 opening menu appears.

  2. Make the appropriate selection.
    HINTS:
    To create a blank web page, select HTML.
    To create a blank external style sheet, select CSS.
    To manage an existing site or define a new one, select Dreamweaver Site...
    These are the three most common selections made from the Dreamweaver CS3 menu.

Creating a New Web Page

There are two options to choose from when creating a new, blank web page in Dreamweaver while the program is running.

Creating a New Web Page: Toolbar Option

When you are working on a Dreamweaver document, it is sometimes necessary to open a new document. Since the New button is only visible on the Standard toolbar, you must have at least one document open to use the toolbar option.

  1. From the Standard toolbar, click New. new
    The New Document dialog box appears.
    NOTE: If the Standard toolbar is not visible, from the View menu, select Toolbars»Standard.

  2. From the Category list, select Blank Page.

  3. From the Page Type list, select HTML.
    OR
    To use a blank template, select HTML template.

  4. Click Create.

Creating a New Web Page: Menu Option

  1. From the File menu, select New...
    OR
    Press [Ctrl] + 1114.
    The New Document dialog box appears

  2. From the Category list, select Blank Page.

  3. From the Page Type list, select HTML.
    OR
    To use a blank template, select HTML template.

  4. Click Create.

Adding or Modifying a Title

The title of a page is used by search engines to locate pages and to identify bookmarks; therefore, it is important to have a descriptive title. If you are developing pages for a course, you may want to include the course number and UWEC along with a description of the page (e.g., Syllabus, English 110, UWEC).

Adding or Modifying a Title: Toolbar Option

  1. From the Document toolbar, in the Title text box, type an appropriate title.
    NOTE: If the Document toolbar is not visible, from the View menu, select Toolbars»Document.

Adding or Modifying a Title: Properties Pane

  1. If the Head Content toolbar is not visible, from the View menu select Head Content.
    OR
    Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [H].

  2. From the Head Content toolbar, click Title.title
    The Title Properties pane will open.

  3. In Title Properties pane, in the Title text box, type an appropriate title.

  4. To set the title, click anywhere in the page.

Adding or Modifying a Title: Dialog Box Option

  1. From the Modify menu, select Page Properties...
    OR
    Press [Ctrl] + [J].
    The Page Properties dialog box appears.

  2. In the Category pane select Title/Encoding.

  3. In the Title/Encoding section, in the Title text box, type an appropriate title.

  4. Click OK.

Saving a Web Page

To save a web page, you must give the page a filename. The filename is the name of the page as it appears in your operating system. Web pages require an .htm or .html file extension. This is essential for the web browser to identify your page as an HTML file.

  1. From the File menu, select Save As...
    OR
    Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [S].
    The Save As dialog box appears.

  2. If necessary, change the location where the file will be saved.

  3. In the File name text box, type the filename.
    The filename must have an .htm or .html extension.
    EXAMPLE: mydoc.html

  4. Click Save.

Exiting Dreamweaver

When you are done using Dreamweaver, simply exit the program. If you have not saved recently, you may be prompted to save before closing.

  1. From the File menu, select Exit.
    OR

    Click the X in the upper right corner.
    A prompt might appear asking if you want to save.

  2. Click Yes, No, or Cancel.
